Marinas Completion of yacht harbour in Warnemunde - vom 04.07.2011, 16:57KG

In time to the „Warnemuender Woche 2011“the new floating pontoons of the yacht harbour Mittelmole in Warnemunde was handed over for use. The final completion will be intended with the installation of the gangway after the reconstruction of the quay wall in August 2011.

The new pier consisting of 5 floating concrete pontoons (20 x 3 x 1.3 m, freeboard of approx. 60 cm) is anchored on 10 piles. Along with 10 fingers, 40 new berths for boats up to 20 m have been created which are equipped with power – as well as potable water supply. Both the fender and the decking of the fingers are made of larch wood.

In the connection of the complete redevelopment of the building yard of the Waterways and Shipping Office Bremen in Brake, two floating concrete platforms with an area of 300 m² were designed, manufactured and installed by Clement.

The overall construction time was about 6 months. Each platform consists of 7 single elements which are connected by Clement’s patented technology for reinforced concrete beams. The 14 single elements (10.58 x 4.04 x 2.12 m) had been manufactured in Rostock and transported by truck to Brake. The pontoons were casted on site. For the construction of the reinforced concrete beams 9.3 tons of construction steel as well as 59 m³ of concrete have been installed on site.

The pontoons are used as landing stage as well as platform for carrying out ship maintenance and repair works.





Floating Platforms Floating terrace for a fish restaurant in Travemuende - vom 04.07.2011, 14:07KG

A floating terrace for the fish restaurant „Fischtempel“(fish temple) in the fishery port of Travemuende was completed and handed over in May 2011. The floating platform with the size of 9x15 m made of 3 single elements of 15 x 3 x 1.3 m has been produced by use of Clement’s patented reinforced concrete beams that are connected rigidly.

For casting the reinforced concrete beams (approx. 6.5 m³ of concrete) a tube length of more than 60 m was required for the concrete pump as the recently reconstructed quay wall was not accessible by truck. In the future the roofing of the floating terrace as well as the replacement of the access pontoons made of wood will be intended.







Marinas "Wasserwanderrastplatz" (Water-hiking-resting place) at the lake Warnow - vom 04.07.2011, 13:43KG

For the construction of a „Wasserwanderrastplatz“ (water-hiking-resting-place) at the lake Warnow, the concrete pontoon with the size of 20 x 2.5 x 1 m was already manufactured and supplied to Papendorf at the end of 2010. As the construction site has not been accessible for large equipment, the pontoon was towed upriver from the sea port of Rostock and supplied by waterway.

The week of delivery (47. Calendar week) has been fixed in particular consideration of the nature reservce “Unteres Warnowtal”; the special requirement in terms of the tug boat to be used has been met as well. Along with the installation of the slip roller for canoes in spring 2011 and after completion of the landside facilities, the concrete pontoon was finally handed over for use.

The structural works of the additional mega yacht berth with a length of more than 135 m and a pontoon width of 8 m have been completed. Hence, even now mega yachts with a length of 100 m and longer can be moored at this berth. At the moment the final MEP works for the provision of the enormous power - and water requirement are being in progress.





Floating Platforms Floating Art Object VINETA at its final location on the Lake Stoermthal - vom 02.12.2010, 12:56KG
The floating art object „VINETA“(construction of a church on CLEMENT’s floating foundation) was anchored at its final location on the Lake Stoermthal on 24 November 2010.
The overall construction has a weight if 330 tons; the floating foundation is 20 m long and 15 m wide. It has a freeboard of 1.20 m.

The floating foundation has been made of 5 single elements casted to a rigid platform using connection beams as ring foundation. After completion of the building construction on the floating foundation, the construction had been floated with progressive flooding of the lake and was finally towed to the final location from the construction site to the present location after final state of construction.




Marinas Marina Muecheln - vom 26.10.2010, 08:45KG
From 4 to 19 October 2010 seven floating breakwater as well as 10 floating pontoons were installed and anchored in the future marina Muecheln on the lake Geiseltal. The equipment of this facility will be carried out before the water sports and boat season in spring 2011. Until then the flooding of this former mining lake will be completed as well. In the first extension phase the facility will accommodate 70 boats.




Floating Platforms Completion of the maintenance berth in Kleinzschachnitz / Dresden - vom 08.07.2010, 10:48KG
The new maintenance berth for the inland water transport of the Dresden Transport Authority was put into operation in Kleinzschachnitz (Dresden) in June 2010. The floating concrete pontoon with a surface of 60 sqm is only anchored on a pier anchor as well as on the access bridge.The pontoon is equipped with service pedestals for the supply of fresh water and power for the ships.




Marinas Completion of the marina (BUGA) in Schwerin - vom 02.07.2010, 11:25KG
After deconstruction of the sea crossing, the removal of the large pontoons and the carriage overland to a new location, the extra-prepared and remaining floating concrete pontoons of the former sailing club Schwerin in the area of the crossing have been installed and brought to a higher standard compared to the previously existing marina made of driven wooden construction. Since June 2010 the marina has been operating with about 100 berths.
